As a society, we’d like to think we’ve evolved to a more enlightened, more progressive way of life. And yet, when it comes to sexual issues, we wrestle with the same sin Paul mentions in his letters 2000 years ago. Sure, the technology has changed, but the human heart remains the same.
Dr. Sean McDowell tackles the sensitive issues that the church has a history of shying away from. He provides strategies and practical tactics from his own personal experiences in order to help teachers, youth leaders and, of course, parents.
"There is a deep sense of confusion today, especially among many young people, about sex, love and relationships. Everywhere I go, students ask me questions such as 'Is it okay to date a non-Christian, How do I love my LGBTQ friends, When am I ready to say, I love you?'. Students often turn to Google for answers more than they consult Scripture. While many students know what the Bible says about sex and relationships, few know why God gave the particular commands that he did."

This course was designed with adults in mind. However, Sean feels that children as young as 12 could greatly benefit from its contents if accompanied by a parent. We acknowledge that every family is unique and that parents must lead their children through sensitive material such as this in a way in which they are most comfortable. With this in mind, we recommend that parents watch the videos by themselves first. This will help you determine if you feel the content is appropriate for your child to view and whether or not you need to have a preliminary conversation with them before viewing it together.
When do the live sessions take place for the PREMIUM course?
Wednesday nights at 8:30 PM Eastern (5:30 PM Pacific). Each meeting lasts 1 1/2 hour.

Unfortunately, due to copyright, privacy and security issues the answer to this question is NO. We understand the desire to share these awesome sessions in this manner, but each course is a “closed” course. This means that each student enrolled in a course with LIVE recorded sessions, through their enrollment, has given permission for recording of the Zoom sessions for use by the student’s in their enrolled class ONLY and verified that they are not a minor. To remain GDPR compliant and protect privacy and security, we authenticate each student joining our Zoom meetings.
